With the steady increase in the amount of shops + riders sending us their suspension jobs, it was time to split that work off into its own business module.

Say hello to TractionLabs – A dedicated MTB Suspension Service Centre operating inside the existing TLS workshop in Joondalup.

Suspension has been an obsession of mine for years, and back in 2019 I mapped out a very deliberate (and expensive) journey to become a full service suspension technician for Fox, RockShox, Marzocchi, DVO and Ohlins equipment. Multiple trips to the eastern states, pages and pages of custom tooling order lists, service kits and spare parts, rejigging half the workshop and countless nights spent poring over service manuals was only just the beginning.

It took 2.5 years before I started offering full spring + damper rebuilds as a workshop service and it has been steadily growing ever since.
